Reporting to the Site Manager for day-to-day operations and part of a rolling standby night rota, this is a mobile hands-on role, requiring the daily operation and maintenance of plant and machinery. Working within the reception building or outside moving the product through its various stages, which will require you to use plant machinery including telehandler, loading shovel, shredder and screener.

The Operations Project Manager’s role is primarily, a support function to facilitate the overall project delivery implementation and continuous improvements to the STGP operation function.

The role will be centred around operational projects to build upon, develop and deliver a wide variety of operational improvements including PAS 100 and PAS110, site harmonisation, safety, compliance, efficiency, recording, managing and developing data capture. Your contribution will allow projects to be developed, owned and then delivered with a methodical approach which results in the project being handed on to the rightful Severn Trent Green Power Division.

This is a mobile hands-on role, covering two sites East Birmingham (Coleshill) and West Birmingham (Roundhill), with your time proportioned as required by the business. The role is to assist the Site Managers for both facilities in ensuring the sites are operated as efficiently and safely as possible, in compliance with all the relevant regulations. This is a full-time role and includes being part of the team rota for weekends, Bank holidays and the night on call/ standby rota. This hands on role requires the daily operation and maintenance of plant and machinery, including telehandlers. The role involves the safe tipping, handling and processing of Food Waste deliveries, sometimes using a Telehandler whilst maintaining high levels of cleanliness on the site and other general housekeeping duties. There will be some involvement with IT and you will be required to assist with maintenance tasks.

This role covers the day-to-day management and coordination of the strong LGV fleet to manage the haulage of liquid digestate spreading operations between Anaerobic Digestion (AD) Site Managers, farmers, and spreading operators.

Reporting to the Power & Controls Manager the role of the Mobile LV Electrician is to maintain, repair and calibrate electrical, mechanical and instrumentation plant and equipment as well as providing support and assistance to the technical support/engineering team.

KEY ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

WHAT IS THE FUNCTION OF THIS ROLE?

Severn Trent Green Power is looking to recruit an experienced Senior Manager into its dedicated and supportive Operational Compliance Team to lead, develop and support a growing team located across the business’ operational areas.

ROLE SUMMARY:

As a senior member of the Compliance Team, reporting to the Quality, Environmental, Health and Safety Director, this a critical role that requires an effective working knowledge of industry regulations that ensure that the business site operations are compliant with legal, regulatory and other requirements. This includes the company’s Integrated Management System, Environmental Permits, APHA approvals and PAS 110/100 accreditation, through the regular auditing and monitoring of operational sites and the company Head Office.

Reporting to the Operational Compliance Manager, you will support and maintain the company’s operational compliance framework by supporting Operational site teams. You will ensure compliance documentation is current and fully maintained, that staff training records are in date, ensure site protocols are followed and audit trails are complete.

You will undertake regular assurance reviews of all aspects of regulatory compliance and health and safety requirements, reporting findings and outcomes. You will follow up on any outstanding requirements and support the delivery of activities to ensure compliance is maintained and support the preparation of external audit activity by industry regulators and close-out actions.

As a CDO you will be responsible for the compliance assurance of a cluster of operational sites and oversee their specific activities. The nature of the role means that you will work methodically, with excellent attention to detail, working to strict deadlines as well as having the aptitude to produce clear and comprehensive written reports and statistical information using MS Office. You will communicate with site employees at all levels and maintain effective engagement. You will apply compliance knowledge in a practical capacity and with commercial astuteness to ensure safety, quality and environmental excellence.

The role of the Compliance Governance Manager is the central hub to the Compliance team. You will manage the Compliance Governance Framework detailing regulations, industry and legal commitments including GDPR, develop the Assurance Plan and Audit Roadmap in conjunction with the Compliance Manager, manage the team policies and documentation, oversee permit and accreditation activities including consultations and external requests for information. You will also be the central source of team MI as required by the QEHS Director and Executive Leadership Team.

Reporting to the Site Manager, this role is a ‘hands-on’ role requiring the daily operation of composting technology,

plant and machinery within the In-Vessel Composting (IVC) Site. You will be processing co-mingled food and green waste, creating desirable quality compost which benefits the agricultural sector and diverts waste from landfill. The site can process up to 35,000 tonnes of organic waste per year.

This full-time role will be based from Ardley IVC Site, near Bicester in Oxfordshire. The core hours are 07.00 – 17.00 Monday – Friday, with weekends and bank holidays on rota basis.

Working within a team of 6, this varied role requires a flexible approach to work and a desire to be part of a team that takes pride in their work.

The Operations team within Severn Trent Green Power are looking to appoint 3 Operations Administrators to report to the Regional Operations Managers for Wales and Midlands, Oxfordshire and London.

These 3 new roles to the team are to provide a support function to the Operational sites within the different regions. The key focus is to facilitate the overall delivery of the STGP operation by administrating day to day planning, diary management, training requirements and assist during meetings as well as providing administration support across the wider operations team.

Are you looking for your next move? Want to work for a company that is proud of its work culture? Roundhill plant processes household and commercial food wastes, which includes packaged and unpackaged goods. Up to 50,000 tonnes of solid and liquid wastes are treated at the facility each year. However, instead of generating electricity the plant produces biomethane which is injected into the gas grid, it also produces an excellent bio-fertiliser which is spread to land.

This is a hands-on Supervisor role and involves the supervision of others in the operation of all technology, plant and machinery within the site during daily operations. Working Monday- Friday, there will be requirements for occasional weekends, Bank holidays and be a part of the standby rota. You will support the manager for the safety of all people on the site and for site compliance with regard to health; welfare; people management; cost; quality; legislative; and environmental matters. You are responsible for ensuring that site targets are achieved. You may on occasions need to communicate with external people including clients, contractors, suppliers the Environment Agency, Animal Health and any visitors to the site.
