A statement from Severn Trent on Her Majesty the Queen: "Our heartfelt sympathies are with the Royal Family on what is truly a sad day for the UK.
The Queen was a true inspiration to millions of people across the world and one of the most important people of the last century. Her passing will be mourned globally as well as here in the UK.
"The Queen was incredibly hard working and dedicated her life to public service and in the course of that carried out thousands of public engagements, including the opening of Carsington Water back in 1992.
"We will show our respect for her service, her achievements and her life."
