We’re delighted to announce that we’ve been shortlisted to win ADBA (Anaerobic Digestion and Bioresources Association) awards for “Best Biogas Plant” and “Best R&D Innovation”.
Our North London AD Facility is one of the most advanced Food Waste recycling facilities in the UK, it won Best Food Waste AD Plant in 2018 and we have re-entered this year as we think it’s still the best.
Our Derby AD facility is the newest addition to our fleet of AD plants. It features a worldwide first Thermal Pressure Hydrolysis technology capable of treating Category 2 & 3 Animal By-Products plus other categories of food waste. This is a true example of innovation in the AD field.
Our network of 8 Anaerobic Digestion (AD) and 5 composting facilities(now encompassing the former Agrivert food waste AD network) positions us as one of the largest food waste recyclers in the UK.
We turn half a million tonnes of organic waste into enough green energy to power 50,000 local homes each year also making us the largest producer of renewable energy from food waste in the UK.
