Location: Severn Trent Green Power Head Office, Radford , Enstone, Oxfordshire OX7 4EB
Contract: Fixed Term
Salary: up to £27,000 pa
Hours: Full Time
Role-specific Benefits: Annual KPI Bonus
Essential Requirements: Already working within a HR role and working towards or qualified L3 CIPD

Role Summary
The purpose of the HR Administrator is to a point of contact and support for the Green Power team related to HR activities. You will provide guidance and advice around policies as well as sharing best practice advice.
The HR Admin is expected to be an ambassador of the company through championing the Severn Trent Green Power Values and culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Resolve colleague and line manager queries from the HR and Careers inbox, assigning or filing as needed, referring to policies and escalating as appropriate.
- Support activities/projects from the HR people plan, across the range of HR activities, supporting to meet milestones and deliver outcomes.
- Support recruiting managers with right to work checks and ensure correct checks have been undertaken prior to offer. Monitor right to work and those that are due renewal.
- Complete reference checks for all new starters and highlight any areas of concern
- Support the development of our people content online, both internally and externally (intranet, website, social media etc)
- Support with change activity, ensuring the best possible experience for our employees as necessary
- Provide regular reporting and analysis to drive people insights and decision making related to your areas of responsibility.
- Update HRIS with on boarding of all new employees in line with pre start date time lines.
- Prepare contracts for all new starters, internal moves and promotions. Post paperwork to new starters prior to start date and upload documents when returned.
Key Requirements
- CIPD qualification or working towards desirable
- GCSE’s or equivalent in English and Maths at grad C or above
- Good use of Excel and data analysis and presentation
- Critical attention to detail and proof reading
- Used to working with a HRIS system
- Previous experience with recruitment is desirable
- Must be able to drive to STGP Head office as role is office based.
- There is flexibility on start and end times and potential working hours per week for the right candidate
