As Permits and Accreditation Officer, you will be accountable for oversight of EPR Environmental Permits and ensure that operational activities are aligned to permit requirements. Where variances occur, or regulatory bodies identify areas for improvements, you will be required to undertake permit variations, where applicable, and oversee action plans for the delivery of any improvements identified.

You will be required to support other regulatory accreditation and support the management of the Integrated Management System and support ISO accreditation.

You will be responsible for the management, coordination and completion of consultation and requests for information from third parties and regulatory reporting, e.g. Annual Performance Reports, Quarterly Waste Returns, ensuring they are completed accurately, on time and in full, with appropriate consultation from key business stakeholders

Severn Trent Green Power is looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager ideally with a composting or strong agricultural background at their established site in Oxfordshire, Nr Bicester. Reporting to the IVC Group Manager, this is a ‘hands-on’ role where you will manage the safety of all people on the site and site compliance with regard to health; welfare; people management; cost; quality; legislative; and environmental matters. You are responsible for ensuring that site targets are achieved. You will need to communicate with external customers including clients, the Environment Agency, Animal Health and any visitors.

The role of the Compliance Governance Manager is the central hub to the Compliance team. You will manage the Compliance Governance Framework detailing regulations, industry and legal commitments including GDPR, develop the Assurance Plan and Audit Roadmap in conjunction with the Compliance Manager, manage the team policies and documentation, oversee permit and accreditation activities including consultations and external requests for information. You will also be the central source of team MI as required by the QEHS Director and Executive Leadership Team.

South Wales AD plant located in Bridgend Mid Glamorgan opened in 2016 and is responsible for processing 50,000 tonnes of solid and liquid waste a year which generates 3MW of renewable electricity. STGP is recruiting for an experienced supervisor to join its established team to support the Site Manager with the daily operation of all technology, plant and machinery within the site.

Working straight shifts Monday to Friday , with weekends as part of a weekly on call rota, you will support the manager for the safety of all people on the site and for site compliance with regard to health; welfare; people management; cost; quality; legislative; and environmental matters. You are responsible for ensuring that site targets are achieved. You may on occasions need to communicate with external people including clients, the Environment Agency, Animal Health and any visitors to the site.

Reporting to the Site Manager, this role is a ‘hands-on’ role requiring the daily operation of composting technology, plant and machinery within the In-Vessel Composting (IVC) Site. You will be processing co-mingled food and green waste, creating desirable quality compost which benefits the agricultural sector and diverts waste from landfill. The site can process up to 35,000 tonnes of organic waste per year.

This full-time role will be based from Ardley IVC Site, near Bicester in Oxfordshire. The core hours are 07.00 – 17.00 Monday – Friday, with weekends and bank holidays on rota basis. There will be occasions where you will be called upon to work and support other site (s) within the region as requested by management.

Working within a team of 5, this hands-on varied role requires a flexible approach to work and a desire to be part of a team that takes pride in their work.

Reporting to the site Manager this mobile hands-on role requires the daily operation and maintenance of plant and machinery. Working within the reception building or outside moving the product through its various stages, which will require you to use plant machinery including telehandler, loading shovel, shredder and screener.

This is a full-time role with core hours of 07.00 – 17.00 Monday – Friday. You will also be part of a rolling standby night rota covering 1 week in 3 or 4.

We are looking for a Class 1 LGV Driver to join our established Oxfordshire based transport team.

Joining a team of 8 drivers and reporting to the Transport Operations Manager, this hands-on full-time role requires a flexible approach to working. The role will be based from Severn Trent Green Power’s Cassington AD Facility in Oxfordshire but will require regular nights out and occasional weekend and bank holiday working.

Your main function will be collecting materials from any of STGP Sites and Parent Company Severn Trent facilities and delivering them to various local farms on a weekly basis.

ROLE SUMMARY

  • Effective and economic procurement of food wastes.
  • Initiate contact with prospective decision makers by cold calling, meeting and qualification, and ensuring pipeline is up to date and sufficient to achieve feedstock volume targets.
  • Collection of feedstock samples when required and arranging for test analysis.
  • Drive operational excellence through close collaboration with internal operations and external haulage partners, to facilitate efficient means of food waste storage, transport, and recycling solutions for new food waste streams.
  • Secure meetings to facilitate sales, identify solutions with customers embedded at the heart of what we do; preparing proposals, responding to tenders (with support of tenders team), creation of pricing strategies.
  • Coordinating paperwork such as waste transfer notes, pre-acceptance agreements, and contracts.
  • Manage and develop customer relationships within secured customer base and pipeline.
  • To actively raise the profile and awareness of the Green Power brand within the given target audience.
  • Hosting customer visits and tours of operating plants.
  • Assist in PR and marketing exhibitions where required.
  • Continue Personal Development and keep up-to-date with relevant legislation.
  • Any other task as reasonably requested by Senior Management.
