Location: North London AD Facility

We are looking for an experienced Commercial Manager/New business sales person to join our close-knit commercial team. Based from our North London AD facility just outside St. Albans, with the flexibility to work from home, this role will involve travel to other AD facilities to conduct site tours and contract management meetings, as well as visiting customers.

Reporting to the National Sales Manager, your role is to identify and engage with prospective customers and establish where STGP can add value in order to secure potential food waste streams. And to develop strong relationships with our existing customer base, ensuring we provide the best possible service, capture all available food waste streams, and retain business through contract extensions.

This role requires a strong hunger for new business with great contract and people management skills, to ensure a seamless delivery of the services which underpin the 8 operational Anaerobic Digestion (AD) facilities within the Severn Trent Green Power (STGP) portfolio.

You will operate within a close-knit commercial team that works in conjunction with Operations, Finance and Compliance to ensure that we provide an integrated service that meets the needs of both the customers and their contracts.

You should be practical as well as commercially astute with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.

Location: Severn Trent Green Power Head Office Radford, Chipping Norton

Reporting to the Senior Bid Manager, we are looking for a Commercial Bid Writer to join our established Commercial team.

In response to requests for tenders for organic waste processing services from local authorities, Severn Trent Green Power develops detailed solutions, submitted in the form of bids. Your role as Bid Writer will be to coordinate the assembly of information into strong coherent and compelling bids, writing additional copy as may be required by the Bid Manager.

From time to time you will also support the Commercial Sales Managers writing proposals and other documentation to secure Commercial Waste Contracts.
